Studies in an Internment Camp.

Mr. Letham K. White, son of an Edinburgh town councillor, has qualified for matrioniation ai Edinburgh Univerity in strange cironmstances. He was on holi day in Germany when war broke out, and was interned at Buble- ben. A number of the men there held classes, and, with the consent of the camp authorities, went through an examination on papera sent to Buhleben by the London University. Mr. White was one of fire whose papers were passed by the London examiners, but as he desired to matricalate at Edinburgh, and the University authorities there were unable to socept the London test, new papers were forwarded to Ruble- ben, with result that he passed in subjects which will entitle him to matriculate at Edinburgh Un- iversity.
