A Chinese Fight in London.

The East India Dock Road waa recently converted into 8 minista e battlefield, reports the Syren. Koives and sticks were freely used and stones and other missiles fell like hail. It was not a "tong" fight, but merely the in- auguration of the Chinese Seamen and Firemen's Union, organised on similar lines to the National Uaien by a pamber of educated Chinese interested in the ques tion. Its object is to pat the crimp out of business by unifying „Chiness labour, and the membera of the Union are standing out for the same wages, and conditione a European labour. The fight on the ceremonial day was an <ffort by the crimping houses to nip the new association in the bad.
