In the Arizona the tower of the craising tarbins is 2,000 h.p. and in the Pennsylvania 1,600 hp. The gears bave been built by the Weeting bose Company, and the weight of each is in the neigh bourood of 10 tons. They are provided with floating frames, which it is claimed render the pressure uniform on all the teeth ander all conditions of iced.
