ARMY TERMS EXPLAINED. Army corps is a complete army on a small goale in itself. Tel strength varics from 35,000 to|| 45,000 men. Division is a force of infantry, cavalry, and artillery, usually with a strength of from 15,000 to 20,000 men. Brigade is a force of infantry on cavalry. The infantry brigade is from 4,000 to 7,000 strong The cavalry brigade is from 1,000 to 2,000 strong. Regiment of infantry is from

2,000 to 4,000 strong. cavalry regiment is from 500] to 1,000 men strong. Squadron of cavalry is from 150

to 200 men strong- Battery of artillery in the British and French armies has 6 guns and about 200 men. In the German Army consists of 4 In the guns and 160 men, Russian Army it consists of & gans and 250 men.

proved by the Governor, No, 418-All persons whose duty it is under this Ordinance to notify the Custodian of property held or managed by them on be- half of enemies are requested to send in lists of such property to the Treasury in duplicate, Such lists should show the name, the present residence, if known; or supposed present residence, of the enemies on whoso behalf tho pro- perty is held or managed, A separato list (in duplicate) should be sent in zaspect of each class of property, e.g., deposits on our- rent account, fixed deposits, title deeds, share scrip, produce, etc., oto. In respect of each class of property separate lists must be made of property over which the holder or manager has a lien,
