ARMY TERMS' EXPLAINED. Army corps is a complete army on a small scale in itself. Tel strength varies from 35,000 tr 45,000 men. Chrision is a force of infantry cavalry, and artillery, usually with a strength of from 15,000 to 20,000.conn. Brigade is a force of infantry of cavalry. The infantry brigade

from 4,000 to 7,000 strong The cavalry brigade is from 1,000 to 2,000 strong. Regiment of infantry is from

2,000 to 4,000 strong. A cavalry regiment is from 500 to 1,000 men strong. Squadron of cavalry is from 150

to 200 men strong, Bathery of artillery in the British and French armies has 0 gups and about 200 men. in the German Army consists of 4 gane and 150 mən. la the Hassian Army it consists of 8 guns and 250 men.
