Metal Market.
On the London metalexchange on May 10 copper and tin toth developed accentuated weakness, bat zine had another rise and iron hardened, while lead was steady. Messrs. Lewis L zarus and Sons, report that the aiandard copper merket opened weak in sympathy with the share market, and prices. at one time showed a loss of 50a. per ton. At the lower level, tow. ever, there was grod resistance and closing" qoptatations were rather above the worst at £75 5,. cash and £70 de, three months, a net loss of 45a. 1er ton for both positions. The turnover was higher, 1000 tons changing hands at £75 10. May dates £70 10a. to £75 108. and £75 12s. 6d.
