water mark in Philippine exporta.

The year 1913 was the best year for Philippine exports, the total value of exports for that year! having reached $53,883,000. Taking January 8 a basis of estimate it is predicted that the increase in sugar "over that pro duosd in 1914 will be a great st least is the increase shown in 1914 over the preceding year- that is, over $4,000,000. On this basis sugar exro:te for the year should reach $15,000,000.. the promise of January in the copra yield for the year is falfilled the toʻal production of copin for the year will reach $12,000,000. Hemp by the same caloulations ebould reach a toral of $22,000,000. This figure would be $1,000,000 more than for 1913 and 83,000,000 more than for 1014
