The Reception at the Theatre Royal.

Yesterday evening there was a reception at the Theatre Royal by the Hongkong Amateur Athletio Federation of the Chinese com- petitors in the Far Eastern Cham- pionship Gamee. Mr. Un Kam Wah presided, and among those present on the platform were H.E. the Governor, the Bishop of Victoria, Mr. E. A. Irving (Director of Education), Sir Robert. Hol Tang, and Mr. E. Ralphs (Ia- epcotor of English Schcole. The theatre was filled.
