Railway Accidents in 1913,

We are indebted to our con-] temporary the Electrician for the following figures:~The Board of Trade rero ́t on accidents on the railways of the United Kingdom in 1913 states that 1,131 persons were killed and 9,054 werd. injored in the working of railwaya by ucoidente in which the running of trains or the movement of railway vehicles was concerned. In the eight years ended with 1012 one passenger was killed on the average in every 57,800,000 journeys and one injured in every 2,300,000, compared with ore in 44,000,000 killed and one in 2,000,000 injured in 1913.
