arrival at San Francisco from Asian ports, via Honolulu. This is the largest number of students that has arrived there at one time. since the appropriation of the Boxer indemnity for the purpose of educating the Celestial youth, Most of the contingent, says the San Francisco Chronicle, come under this provision, while some of the others are being sent by their families. They will enter colleges in the Middle West and in the East. In addition to the stadects the China is bringing: over a score of European pasu engers in the cabin. The vessel tons measurement, 1,400 tons of is laden with a cargo of 2,500 which are for overland.
