R. C. J. Conversazione. The Conversazione of the Royal Colonial Institate took place at the Natural History Museum, Cromwell-road, on June 24. There was a very large company prosent, including the delegates of the Congress of Tropical Agriculture. There was the usual reception by the Council in the Central Hall from 0 to 10 o'clock. A number of the galleries of the Museum were open to the visitors. The String Band of the Coldstream Guarde played a saleation in the Central'} Hall, and vocal and instrumental music was rendered in the Shell Gallery (West Wing) by repre sentative artists from the British Dominions beyond the seas. The Ladies' Walian Orchestra alko played a selection in the Reptile Gallery. It was altogether a highly successful function.
