This afternoon, in the Sam- mary Court, before Mr. Justice Bazeland, Li Pan-kee, of West Point, contractor, sued Pong Ya kee and Sung Ching-chan, of the Ying Lang firm, tile dealers,

Mr. Brution, in opening, said the dispute arose out of a con- tract entered into by the Tai Yip firm of contractors to build six- teen houses for the Procureur General at Pokfulam. At the time the contract was taken over by the defendante, the Tai Yip owed $241 to the plaintiffs for work done, and this was taken over by the defendants.
