Very pessimistic remarks in regard to steel trade prospects are heing made at the meetings of the leading Continental companies now being held. At the meeting of the Vereibizte Konige and Laur Huite, one of the principal German undertakings, the chair- man stated that the outlook was Trade in bara, very black,
