The result of the enquiries on the part of the Guild has been to elicit the fact that the Durbar Medal has been distributed, at the discretion of His Excellency the Viceroy, to guests of the Govern ment present at Delhi, to Govern- ment Officials, Army Officers and others. The Guild are informel from Simla that Captain Whish was the sole representative of the Merchant Service present at the Durbar though others were invit ed. Es has now been awarded and he received the, Silver Coronation Durbar Medal.
