History of a Goose,

Los Angeles, August 1.-A frightened goose flying blindly through the air struck Arthur J. Reddington, a Lemanda Park ranoher, in the back of the neck to-day and onred him of paralysis. Reddington had been suffering from partial paralysis of the arms and legs for several years and his ailment was considered incurable, As he was hobbling along the boulevard near his ranch the horn of a swiftly-approaching automob- ile frightened a flock of geese from an irrigation ditch alongside the road.
