LAWN TENNIS.

Results in the League Matches.

Four matches were played in the Tennis League on Saturday with some very interesting re sults. The European Y.M.C.A. opened their season rather diens- trously, going down to the Chinese Recreation Club by 51 games to 48. Kempthorne and Haigh proved the weak spot in the team, scoring only six games out of a possible 33 and losing all thres sets. The Olympie snatched victory from Craigengower by the Darrow margin of one game, while the Civil Service, with a strong team beat the Wigwam club by the easy lead of 20 games Kow loon beat the Chinese Y.M.C.A. rather easily, winning by 73 games

to 20...
