Rubber Imports Into Germany' The importsof crude and manu- factured rabber into Germany in 1912 amounted to 20,586 tone, of the value of £8,739,000, as com pared with 10,050 tons and 28,472,500 in the preceding year. According to the "Frankfurler. Zeitung," the principal share of the import trade aguia applial The to Brazil, which supplied 0,700 tons, as against 6,831 tons in 1011. As contrusted with this Blight decrease, it is pointed out that the imports from British Todia wore over twice the amount which obtained in 1911, in consequence of the large growth in the calti- vation of plantation rubber, the Agures being 2,127 tons, as against 008 tons in the previous year.
