Some low days ago, the Mitau Bishi Co. in- formed the Harbour Office that the work had been concluded on the 3rd instant. The Company asked the Harbour Officials to inspect and pass the word, and volunteered the services of their own divers for the purpose. The Harbour Officials, however, en- gagod their own divers and went to the spot ia question to examine the beltom.
