Corn Exchange at North Shields on July 2, also, that. they will hold an inquiry into the stranding and loss of the 8.8. Foxley, London, at Caxton London and Antwerp vin Singapore, &, Hall, Westminster, S.W. at 11 Loudon, via Usonl Ports of Call a.m. on the 3rd of July prus, Loudon, Rotterdam and Antwerp, &o.

The stranding and subsequent loss of the s.s. Fixley was attended by serious loss of life. This vessel struck a rock off Sir John Narborough Island and filled rapidly, lifeboats were im mediately slung out and manuel, the starboard hout being placed in charge of Mr. H. C. Steol, M.S.G., who together with 13 Chinese members of the ship's orow, left the vessel. The port boat contained the Third Officer Australian Ports via Manila
