China Coast Marine Engineers,

We understand, says "Shipping and Engineering," that the engi neers of the Chinn coast marido have in contemplation the estab lishment of a branch of the Morine Engineers' Association of London at Shanghai in order to assist in furthering their interests and to co-operate with the Chins Coast Officers' Guild, Ciroulera pro being issued to all engineers con- cerned asking their opinions as to the advisability of the movement.
