The most important additions consist in the figures of rice pro- duction. in Egypt (3,800,400 "quintals, against.1,875,900 quin- tals in 1910), and the area vindor rice in India (21,303,310 hectares, against 22,166,947 hectares a year ngo). The principal, alterations are in the figure of production for wheat and rye in Itussia in Europe, and of maize in the United States,

The single numerical statement of the production ie.,, the ratio, expresses in the form of a person- tage, bolween the production in. 1911 and that in 1910, has not undergone any important changes, being now: for wheat, 100-2; rye," 93.4; barley, 90.4; oats, 10.8. The production of maize shows a considomble decrease as compared with the production last year; the single numerical statement for the following group of countries: Spain, Hungary, Italy, Roumania, Russia, Switzerland, Canada, United States, Algeria, and Tunis being 89.1. That for rice is 109.63 for the following list of countries: Spain, Italy, United States, Japan and Egypt.
