Now Philippines Crops. The latest reports from the rice growing districts of the Philippines

are that the crops in the North will be 40 per cont under the usual produc tion, and in the Camarines, it is ostimated the arop will fail by st Jeast 75 per cont; in this district the tips of the plants of almost the antaro crop having been buried by the excessive heat and drought.

Saigou-Java-Nothing doing... Bangkok. The now crop is not expected to bo put on the market' boforò the beginning of February at the earliest.
