This preparatory school has twa divisions. One divison is a Grammar School for 300 boys, in which the plan of education followed, will be similar to that in the United States. Ip addition to this, there is a middle school alto for 300 students in which, the plan for higher education following American ideas, is pro- valent.

Thera are two sets of teachers engaged. The ne le purely Chinese so that the buys can continue their Chinese stadion; the other is the entirely English-American plan with Eo- glith education. For the latter a large number of teachers from the United States have al- ready been engaged. The teachers will layo for Peking in a short, white; they will gat foreign built residences to live lo.

The Bureau of Educational Mission in Pak- ing has already seat two groups of Chinese students to America in 1909 and 1910; another will follow in 1914. The sofaction is made by Director Tong Kai-Son. The supervision in the U.S.9, is onder charge of Mr. Yong Kwai, 181 Secretary Legation in Washington. When ariving in the U.S.A, the students are placed in various Eastern and Western Colleger.
