A correspondent points out that too much importance is attached to the fluctuations in prices paid for raw subber at the.fortnightly sales London. The estimated cutput of rubber for 1935 wis 70,000 tons, and that for 1989 was 75,000 tons. Assuming that 200 tons sales in the year at Mincing-lane, ibis disposes nie sold at each of the twenty-six förtaightly of 5,200 tons per annum in these suction sales,
