PRIZE DAY,
The annual prize distribution of the Ellis Kadoorie Chinese School was held on the school premises this moisy. Mt. E, A. Irv ing, Director of Education, presided, while supporting him on the platform were Mesits. Ellis Kadaprio, President of the Council, W. D. Braidwood, FELS, Hradmaster, and Lau Chu Pak, hon. secretary.
Mr. Lan Chu Pak on behalf of the Council extended a hearty welcome to those pressut, `after which the boys of the various classes gave a sering of recitations in English in a manner which reflected the highest credit op their tators and plaibly indicated that the latter had faken considerable pains to bring the pupils to as near perfection as possible.
