While a small boy was looking after some shaap on a hillside at Mürren, in the Canton of Berns, so immense eagle-swept down on the flock and attacked two lambs. The plucky little shepherd dung himself upon the larrible Intruder without a moment's hesitation, and tried to beat him off, but the infuriated bird was not to be easily, deprived of his prey, and tora- ed upon the boy with terrific savagery.
