Cantoo, 29th November- O the 28th instant a public meeting was beld by the Canton Association for the Protec- tion of Boundary Rights, at the Mun Lan Shu Yuen, when a considerable, number of people of all classes was present. Leung Mui Kai took the chair and Lo Kwan Shek acted as secretary to the meeting. After a great deal | of discussion on the Macao delimitation ques: tion, the folloinwg resolutions were unanimously paised -

As a result of a breach of the Treaty on the part of the Portogusse between China and Por tagal, the negotiations for the delimitation of the boundaries of Macao by the respective Commissioners have now been suspended. The Canton Provincial Assembly should be requested to bring the matter up for discussion at their next meeting and the matter should be brought to the notice of the Viceroy with the request that he might send, a telegram Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Peking urging the donunciation of the Chino Praguese Treaty of the 13th year of Kwang Hsu. As it has been rumoured that negotiations will be re-opened at Peking for the dalimitation of Macao, a talegram should be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the representation that the negotiations should not be conducted in Peking, butin the South,
