On the Bib at 5.5 p.-Red South Cone hoisted.

On the 9th at 11.10 'p-The barometer bas 'risen moderately in Lurso, and fallen slightly to moderately over the S., coast of China and Assam respectively.

The typhoon appears to be situated to the N.E. of the Paracels and to be moving towards W.N.W.

Pressure has increased over Japan and the N.E, coast of China; and given way over the E. coast and in Wlad-wostock...

The high pressure area liés now to the E. of Japao, and a "low" area sppears to be situat ed over & Manchuria.

Bad wasther may be expected over the-N.W. part of the China Sea,
