Peking, 16th September, The Viceroy of Fukien has wired to the Central Governinent that, ac- cording to the Amoy Taotai, it will be impossible to recover the right of policing the settlement of Kulangsu by the foreign Municipal Council.
The Waiwupu is determined to have that privilege restored and will confer with the various Ministers in Peking on the subject.
