While the police were endeavour ing to find an individual named Gordon and arrest him. they were fired upon by those in the building.

Counsel submited, finally, that from the facts of the case, there was no unreasonable delay on the part of the plaintiff. They had done everything to get the cargo salely ashere. The blame, the delay, was on the shoulders of the defendants, and he asked for a vardict against them.~*~
