Late in the afternoon yesterday urgent telegrams were received here from the districts of Supping and Haiping, stating that the -market-places of Chik-ham, Choung-sha, San- cheung and Pik-boi and the neighbourhood have been flooded, as heavy rains had fallen during the last three days and the river rose
