'HORRIBLE 4 CORES?"

ELIXIR”MADE OUT OF BLOOD FROM

AN EXECUTION.

A Benzin, July 15. Ahrary sectores was pronounced at the Brunswick Court against the "wooder" doctor, Kari Albrecht, a braom-maker of former times, whose "cures"; weis much the same in prin. ciple those of the Mecklenburg..." wise woman,” His famous olntment, au." infallible remedy, was composed, of pounded garden snails, bedgehops, and fat. A certain "care elixir which was much favoured was made of clotted blood obtained aftor a public execution. On some occasions Albrecht varied this with a pint of pig's blood as effective in con sumption cases.......

The Court considered the fraud so glaring that it awarded two and a quarter years' penal servitude and a fios of £75.

The "doctor" declared that if the patinou
