It will doubtless become one of the stock' plants of Hoogkong gardens. In this land of flowering shrubs it is not often that we find anything. During the year all the Balsam specimens from cutside that iï worth introducing into our in our herbarium were sent, at his request, to gardeni; an exception has occurred recenile, Sir Joseph Hooker for examination, They however, when shrubs of Ramley i Burgesake, were received back before the end of the year, seeds of which had been received from Durban, with determination attached.
