The following repon is from Mr, F. G. Figg Director of the Hongkong Observatory :-.

- On thỏngth at 11.55.-The barometer has fallen quickly in E. Japin owing to the depres. sion which is now passing from Hokkaide to the Pacific.

The barometer has risen in S.W. Japau, and fallen again over China, Another depression, which will probably move Eastwards, han appeared over the Yangtze Valley..

Moderate to fresh S. winds may be expected in the Formosa Channel, and the N part of the China Sea,

Hongkong Raidfall for the 24 hours ending' at 10 am, to-day, 0.12 inches.
