CHINESE METHOD OF CURING, THE SICK.
At an inquest which was held at the Magis- tracy, this alternoon, Mr. J. H. Kamp (the Coroner) made some very caustic remarks with regard to the master Chinese have of treating the sick.

Dr. To Ying Kwan, officer in charge of the Chinese Public Dispensary, Central District, stated that about to pm. on the day in question a Chinese tailor, giving the name of Taug Yuen Lee, residing on the second floor of 4, Woo On Lase, reported to him that his daughter had died, and requested that her body be removed to the mortuary. In addition he stated that the girl had only been ill for a day. Witness had the childs body removed to the mortuary.
