DISPUTE DETWEEN CHINESE MERCHANTS.

Sir Francis Piggott (Chief Justice) was called upon at the Supreme Court, this fore noon, to settle a dispute brought by the Kwone Fung Wp firm, of 6o, Bonham Strand, agalost the Wing Ki Cheong firm, 116, Des Voux Road West, in the matter of an issue between the plaintiff firm and Chau Mau Chi otherwise Chan Pui Sib Tong, and Yim Wai Tak Tong, otherwise Vim Ping Fal, otherwise Yim Quan

The question his Lordship had to decide was whether or not Chan Mau Chi and Vim Quon bad at any time been partners in the defendat firm.

Mr. A. W. Slad instructed by Mr. Sargeant, of Messrs. Wilkinson and Grist, appeared for the plaintiffs, while Sir Henry Berkeley, K., instructed by Mr. Oto Kong Sing, represented the defendants,
