A TRIPLE, MORDER AT KLONG POIL YOME.

The Six Pron Press of rath inst, says The triple muzler perpetrated last night at at Klong Pob Yome is the sensation of the hour in Bangkok. It appears that at about half past eight or 9 pm. yesterday evening somebody was pissing along Klong Poh Yeme Road when he saw three Indians iyi ig dead On the way side. He immediately wave ward to the authorities and afterwards it was discovered that two of the victims belonged to the police, force, but were not in shiform. The third viction is said to have been an Indian watch man. Various rumours are current concerning the horrible affair, but in, the absence of more reliable infomition much credence can. not be placed in these. Sonic attribute the dreadful deed to robbery as one of the victims „was unid to have possessed Tier. 8oo on his person, while other reports go to show that the tragedy was the outcome of jealousy.

So far, however, that affair appears to be in. volved in utter mystery, though the Police are leaving no stone unturned in find a clue to the perpetrators of the deed.. Na firearms ap pear to have been used but clubs and, perhaps, knives, as can be judged by the nature of the wounds.

Of late several deeds of murder have been reported from the above locality, some of which are still shrouded in mystery, despite the systematic and untiring investigations which --have been and still are being made. ·

It is a matter of deep concern to all, while such crimes can be committed with impurity, and on this occasio» it is to be sincerely hoped

Accordingly, he is likely to come under the notice of His Honour Julge Willey within the next few days, in connection only, however, with extradition, proceedings, most likely. We need not say that any undue delay in bringing such a inaiter as the accusation against Adsets to trint would be highly unde- sirable, for the prisoner's own sake as much as on any other ground, and it is to be hoped sincerely that, if any question of venue should arise, it may be c'ecided as quickly, as possi-'
