Glorious Rose was far too formidable a competitor for his rivals, 'and won the raco easily from Comanche, who started well but finished a poor second. Bration's Preston' did decidedly well in securing a good third, The Navy Cup brought out the biggest field of the day, eleven contestants, and proved another win for Mr. Master.
The Parsee Cup produced the finest finish of the meeting and was won by Ben Bios.
