A protracted lawsuit brought by the Cherkes Indians against the United States Government for the payment of the expenses involved in the removal of the Cherokees from the Entero Slates to lodian Territory more than half a century ago, has been decided by the Supreme Court in favour of the Indians, who will now receive the sum of £900,00.
