Steamship "DORIC" will be despatched for SAN FRANCISCO, via THESHANGHAI, NAGASAKI, KOBE, INLAND SEA, YOKOHAMA and HONO: LULU, on SATURDAY, the 17th instant, at Noon, taking Freight for Japan, the United States, and Europe. Passengers are allowed to break their journey at any point en ronis, Through Passage Tickets granted to England, France and Germany by all trans-Atlantic lines of Steamers, and to the principal cities of the United States or Canada.

Passengers holding through ORDERS TO EUROPE have the choice of the Overland Rail Routes from San Francisco, including the SOUTHERN PACIFIC, CENTRAL PACIFIC, UNION PACIFIC, DENVER and RIO GRANDE, and NORTHERN PACIFIC RAIL- WAY; also the CANADIAN PAOIFIC RAILWAY on payment of £4 in addition to the regular tarif rate:
