After everything had been settled that the funeral of the late General Sir Hector Mac donald should take place in Paris, the widow and son of the deceased arrived at the War Office to-day and insisted on an interment in Scotland. The authorities having no power to oppose this, it is probable that the funeral will now be in Scotland, and in view of the strong national sympathy with the late General and the ignorance of the nature of the charges against hini, it is very likely that the ceremony will assume the character of at public demonstration, ___-
The Antarctic Expedition.

Captain Brehmer, having arrived from, the.. above ports, Consignees of Cargo are hereby requested to send fn their Bills of Lading for countersignature by the Undersigned and to take immediate delivery of their goods from alongside.
Optional Cargo will be forwarded unless notice to the contrary be given before Neon T DAY.
Any Cargo impeding her discharge will be landed into the Godowns of the Hongkong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown Co., Limited, and stored at Consignees' risk and expense.
No Claims will be admitted after the Goods undelivered after the 5th April: will be have left the Godowns, and all Goods remaining
subject to rent.
All broken, chafed and damaged Goods are to be left in the Godowns, where they will be examined on the 6th April, at 3 F.M.
No Fire Insurance has been effected.
