Capt. Almond, of the str. Rubi from Manila, reports: Strong mansoon and high sea, clear and cloudy throughout

Capt. Beethem, of the str. Tartar from Van- couver, reports Fine weather, fine to strong monsoon in Formosa Channel.

Capt. Pennefather, of the str. Kaifong from Cebu, etc., reports:-Moderate to light N.E. winds and fine clear weather, smooth sex to Cape Kapones, thence to port strong monsoon and overcast with bigh sea,

Capt. Harjes, of the str. Machew from Bang kok, repdris-The first two days after leaving Ang-Hin the weather was fine, smooth sea, but after that right on to Hongkong we had a very rough sea and swell, the wind being from N. to N.E., the sky clear.

Capi, McArthur, of the steamer Empire from Australian ports, reports.i-Left Sydney at 10 a.m. on 18th uk, called at Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Thursday Island, Port Darwin and Manila. Sydney to Port. Darwin exnerienced strong N.E. and N'ly winds with almost conti. nuous rain and hazy weather. Port Darwin to Manila, moderate winds and fine but bazy wea ther, left there at a am on the 7th inst, and had strong N.E. monsoons, with bigh seas and overcast sky which continued until arrival..
