A RECORD-On the 8th November Mrs. Catherine Schooner, a centenarian, died in Barber's Street, Madras. The deceased lady was borá on Christmas Eve, 1791, and was there- fore, over 110 years old. She was the widow of a farrier in the 9th Regiment of Light Cavalry, Madras, and was in full possession of all her faculties till a few months ago. The deceased was one of the very few whose lot it has been to link the 18th with the 20th century. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN! It is stated that.
