He could only thank every member of the company for what he had done towards it. He was the first instructor to the company, and he was glail to think they were getting on so well, He had not the least doubt that if they made the same progress in the future which they had made in the past the company would become the best in the Corps. This competition caused much amusement to the on-lookers, especially as the horses seemed to take a diabolical pleasure in kicking the bucket over, this of course necessitated the rider having to dismount again and pick up the potatoes already placed there. The line of buckets extended across both courses, and so presented a very lively scene as the riders keep crossing and recrossing front one end to the other.
