The Official Journal of Franco states :—

93,273 Hectos of Brandy were distilled from wins, September, 1896 to 1897. 2,353,129 Hectors of Brandy (?) were exposied and consumed in France." Viz., the exports and consumption of all kinds of Brandy were more than 25 times the quantity of real Brandy distilled.

It follows that very small proportion of Brandy exported from Frazce is made from Wine. We have for many years used a blend of FRENCH GRAPE BRANDY with WINE BRANDY from other canntries. This enables us to sell a PURE WINE BRANDY at 'moderate cost, and by judicious blending the characteristics of the French Spirt are retained., Oår spencial blends are :-
