SANITARY JURVEYOR'S REPORT,
The report of Mr. J. R. Crock, Sanitary Sur- vayor, was submitted to the meeting. It gave full details of maiters connected with house. drainage, &c., and stated that during the past year 475 houses bad received certificates that they had been built in accordance with the Public Health Ordinance. The report also stated that terraces to provide 117 graves had been formed at the South end of Mount Caroline Cemetery, the provision being deemed sufficient for to months from January 1, 1897.

THE Canadian Pacific Railway Co.'s steamship boat and as it drew near a plienus sight met them, to-day and left again at 3.30 p.m. for Empress of Tapas arrived at Nagasaki at 7 vallors' eyes. In the bow was an old man in Shanghai where she is expected to arrive at 5 uniforms, with sunken taco and bollowed even who proved to be Capt. Berry, one of the best on Saturday, the 8th Inst. known commanders of the Havis branch of the line.
