Commander and Mrs. Ballington Booth have relinquished their command in the Salvation Army. They make known this action to a "manifesto issued to-day, in which they take the ground that the step was forced upon them. By the general public this document will ba construed as indicating strained relations to the Booth family, which have heretofore been entirely unsuspected, and which may have an Important bearing on the fature relations of the Salvation Army in this country to the parent organization.
