The British steamship foray reports that she left Kasalat on the 4b instant, Had stron north-east winds and high ses to Chapel Island; thence strong southwest winds and high con. fused son with heavy rain to Hongkong.

The British steamship Namyong reports that she left Penang, via Singapore on the 1st instant. From Singapore to North Reef had south-south. west winds and fine weather. From Nerth Reef to port had strong north-cast to north galo

and very heavy ZER.

The British steamen!p Glenas insy reports that she left London on the 27th August. Had very fue passage to Canals cinared on the roth site. Had hot sultry weather with fresh to light northerly winds down the Red Sea. Leaving

the Gulf al Aden had two days fresh south- south-west to west-south-west monsoon; thence moderate wind with fine clear weather to Penang.
