CHOLERA IN AFGHANISTAN,
SILLA, May 16th. News from Cabol states that over 5,500 deaths from cholera have occurred during the last ten days of April.
CALCUTTA, May 17th.
The outbreak of cholera in Cabul is so severe that mil public business has been temporarily paralysed. The Amit has retired to his summer residence In the Paghan hills. Seven thou sand deaths from cholera have occuned in the Panjib since the second week of April. Of these three thousand are reported from Baning district. The disease was originally disseminated the seuraing pilgel from Hurdwar, and a fresh outbreak occurred by the spread of cholera eastwards from Afghanistan.
