On the other hand JOHN MINHINNETT deposed on oath in the Supreme Court that LI AVAT was sold by WONG AH NGAN and that he was present in his own house 'when the purchase money was paidt and it has since been reported that the girl was taken to Singapore for immoral purposes.

A Reward of $250 will be paid to any person who shall produce reliable evidence, showing that LI AFAT was returned to her mother, in or about September, 1888, and afterwards died as alleged:
